Your rights and the law, in plain terms.

Minimum wage & on-time pay
Every worker must be paid at least the minimum wage notified for that state and skill, and paid on time. No illegal deductions.
Working hours & overtime
Normal work is about 8–9 hours a day and 48 a week. Work beyond that is overtime, usually paid at double the normal rate.
No forced or bonded labour
No one can be forced to work against their will or trapped in debt-bondage. Workers are free to accept or decline any job.
No child labour
No child under 14 may be engaged for work. We never list or accept tasks that put minors to work.
Social security for platform workers
Platform and gig workers are formally recognised, with welfare and registration (e-Shram). Some states levy a welfare contribution on platforms.
Fraud & breach of trust are crimes
Cheating a customer or worker, or misusing money or property entrusted to you, is a criminal offence — protecting both sides of every job.
This is general information to help you understand your rights, not legal advice. Exact wage rates, limits and rules vary by state and change over time — check the latest official notification or a qualified advisor for your specific case.
